South Georgia K-9s has been training professional working dogs since 1992. We have trained numerous dogs for detection, criminal apprehension, and man tracking.
|
|
|
|
|
|
At your agency's request, we can obtain a dog and prepare that dog for a specific K-9 role -- detection, criminal apprehension, or man tracking.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Once we have obtained the dog and conducted initial training, we will begin training your dog and K-9 handler as a team.
|
|
|
|
|
|
South Georgia K-9s provides certain warranties on those dogs that we purchase for your agency. It is also equally important that the K-9 handler maintain good training records.
|
|
|
|
|
|
We have standard courses for each of the basic training areas (detection, tracking, and patrol), or we can customize the training to your specific needs. POST credit will be given for all training.
|
|
|
|
|
|
It is our objective to prepare the K-9 unit -- both the dog and handler -- to perform its role in the most efficient, effective, and SAFE manner possible.

We are quite proud of the South Georgia K-9 dogs that have assisted their agencies in ridding the streets of dangerous drugs and apprehending fugitives.

South Georgia K-9s is also affiliated with Criminal Interdiction Associates, which offers training in highway and criminal interdiction (click here).
